All of the community spaces in Tāmaki
are currently closed due to COVID-19.
There are a number of different community spaces that are open to local community workers and groups to access. A group of community facilitators have come together to help activate some community spaces in Panmure.
The Peace Experiment is a Montessori high school based in Panmure. They have opened up their doors for the community to be able to access their rooms for community meetings. There are several rooms that can be booked – big and small. Also available is free wifi, kitchen & dining facilities and lounge area. You can book for any time of the day or night, just email steven@peace.school.nz
The Panmure library is a public space with a meeting room that can be booked. It caters for up to 10 people and is free to book online – here.
The Tāmaki Wellness Hub is open to any community members that are wanting to work in a hot desk space to come together with other like minded people that want to work on their own projects or collaborate together. The hub will be open on Mondays and Thursdays from 9am to 4pm. For more information, just email KarlBailey@adhb.govt.nz
The Panmure Community Hall holds a partnership with a certain number of community organisations that have access to some facilities from Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm. The partners are individually confirmed through the programme coordinator. For more information, just email theresa.holmes@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz. The hall also has community rooms that can be hired out at a cost here.
Auckland Council have several different venues – if you have a particular one in mind, go here and see if it can be hired.
